me having my first leave in

Ireland. I went on the same date

this year October 4th.

We are having some lovely

weather out here for December

I hope it still keep so then

we might soon get this war

over which will be a great blessing

to not only us lads out here

but every body in England.

Well I don't seem to have a

great deal of news So I must

bring my letter to a close thanking

you again for the parcel
