another 10 mins if I

had not been hit. I'm

awfully sorry to hear about

Jon Hall. Scott has just been

carried into this ward with

a bullet wound in his hip. He

is however 5 beds away from

me + I cannot have a talk.

I wish I could as he would

be able to tell me a lot.

I wonder what old James had

to say about it all, he was

awfully decent to me as I was

carried past his H.Q. he shook

me by the hand + wished me the

best of luck. He was looking

very grey poor old man.

My turn round is a nasty one

but I have saved my leg + the

worst will possibly be one leg (R) 1/2"
