course. We did get an

allotment but it was given to

Henderson by the Old Man. I hope

he will have a good time but

I certainly thought it would

be my turn this time & so did

everyone else. I don't know

whether I can do anything yet

but will let you know if 

there is any chance of my

getting a change - a most difficult

thing for a regimental officer to get
