perhaps to have written to. I wonder what
the Rev Father will do or say.
We had the cake for tea to-day.
Tell Alice everyone said "What jolly good
cake." The biscuits were excellent too only
unfortunately they had all got broken
into small pieces. Ta muchly for all
the good things you send me.
It seems an age since I saw
you + Kenneth. Tell Kenneth his Daddy
often talks about him + hopes to
"come tea" someday. I wonder which of
us will be the more excited when
he comes to "meet Daddy." My
thoughts are always with you
Darling - even when my large family
here is taking up so much of my
time. It will be glorious to be together
again with the war all settled + won.
We shall win but it won't be for
some time yet. The Boche is very
clever + according to our ideas
