written as there was no chance

of the post going out. The

roads are beaten down now

& I expect to get this

away in the morning. I am

very fit & well & think I shall

have a good time for the

rest - hope it lasts at least

two week. Perhaps we'll get

longer if the snow stays

with us. I received this

afternoon two letters from you

- one from the C.O. & one from

Aunt Jennie. The C.O. is not

having too good a time. I

know he would be

delighted to see you if you

could get to the Hospital

when in Leeds. I am glad
