year. All my thoughts come to you

Beloved. I'll write a longer letter

as soon as we settle down & I

expect I'll be able to give you

definite news of that course. It

is open but I don't know whether

the Brigade are to send anyone. Anyhow

I'll know definitely in the next few

days but I haven't very much

hope. Fox has arrived back &

Sherwell has turned up also so

there are a few more old faces

with us. 'D' Company are singing

Carols & sound very happy. There

is a rumour that Phillips is out

again & has got command of a Bn

from the course. Nice for Dean

isn't it? I don't think I have much

more news only that I love you

very very dearly & wish I were

with you. May all happiness

wait upon you Beloved.
