like having them. I am sure they will

enjoy their visit w/you. Give them my love.

Fancy Kenneth taking the lead. He looks

like making a good officer in time.

I haven't lost heart Sweetheart. I am only

fed up. If possible, I intend that it shall

only be a temporary set back. It seems

as if only those get on who work for

themselves & in future I shall do that when I

get a chance. I am pleased your hand

bag came back in good condition. They seem

to have kept it a long while though. I don't

understand Daisy's husband getting all his

pay stopped unless he allows Daisy so much of

his pay that the amount left only just

covers the hospital stoppage. I believe all

that will be altered in time. I don't

remember any Wilkinson living up the

Parade - unless it was the old man who

lived next to McIntyre. I should like to

see Kenneth in his new tunic. Ta for

sending those parcels to Lales &c. Perhaps they

will arrive to-day. Eggs are some price now.

I have been a long time writing & I wonder

if I have told you how much I love

you. You are the best little woman in

the world & I love you very very

dearly. I hate being away from you & even

if the days pass quickly the time seems

so long. It is ages & ages since I was

at home with you & Kenneth. What
