I think it would be best to spend

the first few days with Maud

& John or at Knaresboro or Leeds

whichever you prefer & then go

home. - I have just reckoned up

that will be too late to do

that for you won't receive 

this until the morning of the 

29th unless it happens to be a 

lucky letter. Under the circumstances

it would be as well to settle

in Grantham for the time. We can
