a good long time. Our games are

better than his, our men are

better & our supplies of food

& ammunition are infinitely superior.

All our men are well fed & we

pass over about 20 shells to his

one. How tired of the shells the

Boche infantry must get. Still if

it is only a question of fighting

Kenneth will be at school before

the war is over so we'll wish

the Boche all sorts of nasty

things at home.

Enough of war - for the Padre

says it will be all over by

Christmas & I hear "John Bull"

has ordered his Christmas Dinner

as a peace celebration.

Give my love to everyone &

tell them I am very fit & well.
