Dear Kenneth,

  It is such a

very long time since I wrote

to you that I had better

try again. I was glad to

hear all about your new

coat and also the pockets one for

each hand. I wonder how

many times Mammy will

have to say "Take your hands

out of your pockets, Kenneth"

I hear also that you know many

new words & that you can

even say a piece of poetry

that Miss Edwards taught

you. Have you astounded

Joan yet by saying it? What

a great traveller you are,

for you don't stay many
