No 43

25/9/17

My Own Darling,

  I have two of your

letters to answer No 31 received last

night and No 30 to-day. I wrote you

a short note this morning & did not

expect to get much more spare time

to-day - however I am fortunate.

Ta for Gazette Cutting. You seem to have

had a very good time at Plumpton.

Kenneth must be growing a strong

Laddie to run about so much. Still

it is nearly two months since I

left you & he could run about

quite a lot then couldn't he?

You mention wasps - there are literally

millions of them over here and

they are most affectionate. They

display a special liking for the

C.O. but he hasn't been stung

yet. Sorry Kenneth was off

colour but I hope he is real

fit again now. Leave is

not easy to get from the least
