My Own Darling Marion,

We are still training and waiting

for orders which we expect will come

shortly. We are having a very good time

really, not so much work and no

more danger than there is in England.

For there is nothing comes near except

enemy aircraft. There are no orders at

present & one might imagine we

were out for the duration, but that

would be a waste of good soldiers

wouldn't it? The weather is still kind

though there was a heavy storm for

a short time last night. I haven't

any news really - just writing because

I want to have a chat with you

and to tell you that I love you

very dearly. It seems such a long

long time since we were together
