My Own Darling Wife,

Ta for your letter 25 which

I received to-day. We have had

a fairly long day from 8 am

to 5:30 pm doing a Battalion

show. The weather was dull

when we started but it

turned out a fine day. We

had quite a useful &

pleasant day. I expect

we shall in time exchange

the criticisms of the Generals

for the chances of the Boche

shells & bullets but the word

has not gone forth as yet.

I wish I could have seen

Kenneth when you were

writing & also when he

swallowed the kisses. Glad

the snaps came out well.

Yes I was moving when
