that Dad is improving. Fancy K

saying he was going home when Ma

returns. Yes Darling if only

I were it would be just lovely.

I don't like you to feel lonely but

I expect you must at times. I

do want you to have a good time

whilst the war is on & of course

afterwards it will be my pleasure

to see that you do. Life would be

more empty without our Laddie for

he is a comfort to me as well.

Yes I believe I did when we were

at Scarboro but it was worth it.

You are - the best wife & the

loveliest mother & we'll both tell

you so. Am I good & patient?

Well! What a lot I owe to

you Beloved. May all happiness
