Mammy & her duty as a bürger. Yes

Border could have told you how

well I was looking. He was on leave

& I understand his special reason

for going to Grantham was to visit a

girl in Harrowly Road - but he wouldn't

tell me her name - being rather sly

I expect. Kenneth was great on

the mist. How quickly he seems

to be learning things. I am glad

Darling & hope you will keep really

fit & well & not even have a headache.

I see you always keep busy even

though I am away to lighten your

work. Will Kenneth help with

the pyjamas? I had a letter from

Ma this morning. She seems to be

having a good time & is especially

glad that she did not go
