My Own Darling Marion

        Work is over for the morning +

I have come in for a few minutes chat

with you The rain finished during the night

but today we are enjoying a gale of

wind. It blows so hard that one can 

hardly make oneself heard. I went

on the early morning parade 7-8 The

C.O. said last night that he would

take it but at 6 am he sent his

orderly in to say he was not feeling

too fit + would I take the parade.

I said yes - had another half

hours sleep + then got up.

Sorry my No 9 is astray I wrote it on

the 17th Your No 12 seems to be missing

also - perhaps it will turn up today

Yes Darling I think I have got the better

of PUO without a trip to Blighty but
