My Own Darling Wife,

  I missed the post yesterday

& so did not write. For a change I

was allowed to get dressed

yesterday & sit out in the sun.

I felt rather washy but apart

from that pretty well. Expect I

shall not be here many more

days now though sometimes

they keep one a couple of weeks to

be sure that the temperature is

not going to return. It is 8 am

now & having washed, shaved &

had my breakfast I am sitting 

up in bed waiting for the

Doc to come & say "Oh yes it

will do you good to get out

for a walk." This is a curious

disease - not even as bad as

having a cold in the head.
