- water water everywhere.

  Knox came back yesterday &

is sharing my tent - at present he

is fast asleep upon his bed - or

rather he was but as just waked

up & says he thinks he has got hay fever.

His wife & family are well - even the

boy shows no signs of being off

colour & Knox says his latest game

was to pretend he was a sack of

coal which Daddy had to carry &

dump in various places.

Your letter has taken a few days

to catch me up. It seems a long time

since I left you & yet you wrote

the letter only a few hours after I

had gone, so it cannot really be

long since I was at home. Yes Darling

I too hope the course will come through

but it seems a long time in doing

so. Glad you had a good rest
