a good chit from him the other

day for having the best rifle range.

This afternoon the Divisional Commander

inspected the camp & he was very

pleased with it.  When he left he

said that I had got a very

excellent camp & everything in it

was really good.  After that I

went & listened to a lecture he

gave & then went on & had tea

with the Machine Gun Company.

Since then I have been getting our

orders & arranging work for

tomorrow.  Soon I hope to have

a wash & change & then there will

be nothing more to do unless

more instructions come through.

     Tomorrow is the sports day

so we finish parades at 11 am.

I had a letter from Archie

today - he is down at Chatham
