If Mrs. Woods is as good a sort

as her husband she should be

very nice. I think I have only

spoken to her once + that's a long

time ago at Fermoy.

It is good to hear that you

are having a pleasant time.

Sorry to hear that the mills were 

burnt down & I hope Mr. Bell

had them fully insured. I 

expect he would for he is a 

pretty shrewd businessman.

Your curtains were certainly very

cheap. It is rather amusing to

see that Mrs. Johnson thought

you had been lucky in getting

a house again & so praised

to your face your ideas & choice.
