My Own Darling Wife,

  I didn't get a letter off yesterday

and I have been fairly busy ever

since we arrived in this area.

We left our old camp early in the

morning & marched here. The camp

was only half ready for us so

we had to set to & build more

shelters, refuse pits &c &c &c. To-day

has been a cleaning up day & we

have also put in more good work

on camp improvements. To-morrow

we start work in earnest. Yesterday

afternoon the G O C had a conference

on the training & this morning I was

busy getting out our programme of

training. Of course it was sent back

but only because I had not

put in the localities where work

was to be done. I have two lovely

letters of yours which I have not

answered as yet. Two allotments
