parcels last night. Home made

bread - cake - butter & stewed

fruit from the village. I

have promised to go & have tea

with Clarke in his dug out

so I look like feeding well

to-day. I got my lamp

back last night & it is

most useful. To-day it is

a lovely summer day. I was so

hot in the sun that I

retired into the dug out to

get cool.

I do hope you are having

a good time Lassie & that

Kenneth is enjoying being

at home too. I wish I were

with you to look after

both of you. To talk with

you & to play with him.

Won't it be lovely when I

get leave. I shall get so

excited that I shall not
