I also had a line from Mendel

to say he was going strong.

Ma would enjoy having you &

Kenneth at Hayn Park for when

she wrote to me she was

looking forward to seeing you

again. Kenneth evidently had

a very good time again. He

must have a very good memory.

Hope you haven't really gone

thin. Glad to see Kenneth

shows such excellent taste &

agrees with me in thinking that

his Mammy is bonny.

I don't know what we shall

do when I come on leave but

anyhow Lassie one thing I do

know & that is that it will be

just glorious to be with you

again. What a lot we have

missed. We shall take years

& years to make up for it.
