They offered to put in the whole

of the lighting for £10 cash or

£1 a quarter as hire purchase or rather

payment by installment. They did

this & then put 10/9 on the bill for

lamp shades different from specification.

I ordered nothing different & if any

differences were made they did it

on their own responsibility to try &

get more money out of the job. This

I have explained since the first bill

I got. I must write & thank Herb

for those things - hope the posters

were good. No I don't think meat

tickets are much good now. It is

usually possible to get a more

substantial ration - though they have

come in handy at times. I should

have loved to have heard Kenneth

& Alice. His progress seems

wonderful to me. You must be

a very good coach. I too am

expecting a good time when I come

home - a very good time indeed
