in Melbourne they thought I was lost. I had a

few hours rowing on the Yarra river that flows through

Melbourne, and was in the park and saw the splendid

mansion where Sir Munro Fergueson [sic] the Governor

General of Australia lives. We left Melbourne

on tuesday and arrived in Sydney on thursday

June 25th at 3 o'C seven weeks exactly since

we sailed from London.

Molly Tess + auntie met me at the wharf and they saw me and I them  Tear in the letter

got alongside. Tess has not changed very

much but the spectacles  But a change in

Molly. I met Jack Hartnett + Mrs also Madge

Uncle Tom + Uncle Dave and Dave Noonan from

Perth Jack Manning + Tom Melody.

How is Father, Mick , Willie are they strong.

I will write to them later on. How is Maggie

I heard she is left Gerald Griffin St.  I will

write to her next week. Tell Uncle Will

I was asking for him, Also Bill Nicholl and

Mrs + Miss Nicholl. I will let you have more

news about Sydney next time.
