U.S.A. and  ... Dr O Brien one of our old

school chums in Cornane how sad to think

he met his end through means of an

Irish traitor. Jemmie I have met some of

the family in the U.S. but I could never

be friendly with one of that type during

a life time. they are not worth mentioning

in any conversation.

I hear from Dennie often but Maurice

never wrote tell him drop me a line for

old time sake and give me his adress when

next you write. I have not met your Cousin

Dennie now this long ti,e as for Herr I have

not seen him for the past six months the

last time we met at 2.30 am Mass in New York

and spend the day together he was the same

Herr no change. I felt sorry to hear poor

old Keogh passed away. he was the life

of the district for miles around May God

be merciful to all our loved ones who

said their last fairwell in this life.

Well old pal I am enjoying life in the

same old Irish way ever since I got

back. Often life is two lively its hard

to keep up the pace I am making a pretty

good living Jemmie but whats the use

life along the greate white way takes it

all. some day we may have since enough

to save a little money.
