just a few lines to

let you know I am here for

a little while, I hear that

you went to Lutton on Monday,

we are having nice weather

here, I should have liked to

have been with you till

Monday but never mind I

was pleased to see you all,

remember me to mother & father

& I hope Will is still at

best for me with  the garden,

I am telling you now so that

you wont forget about the

cactus plants take them in

when the weather gets cold towards

the winter, I missed the garrison

draft & the French draft went last

night, I will let you know

when I am being moved, I will
