"Camp - de - Grasse."  In French

Closing my eyes I can see it all.

Those lovely huts to all a wonder.

The windows specially made to fall

When we had storms + that thunder

 Wavy line inserted by writer

The beds we had there we're fit for Kings

Made of straw from the Yankee's own land

Dust in them made you think you had things

That at night hop about on your hand

 Wavy line inserted by writer

Every evening when the sun went West

Sweet perfumes rose for us to inhale.

Indoors we'd run as if from a pest

For strong perfume is bad for Waacs frail.

 Wavy line inserted by writer

Our fine Mess.Hall I can see in my mind

So fragrant, + clean + so cool

Cooks more obliging you never would find

To help us they'd break any rule

 Wavy line inserted by writer

(more if you want it on

the other side)
