Dear Pat,
Just a line hoping you and Mary are
quite well. I would have answered your letter
last week only we got our photo taken and they
were to be ready on Monday last but they did
not come untill saturday. they are not very
good but I will get one taken by myself soon
I do not know if you will notice my mostash
it is a nusence. but you have to let it grow
if you shave it off you are lible to get 4 days C. B.
I am in very good health and am
beging to like the training we start on Mus
keting on Monday. it is very interesting & after
that we will go on bayonet fighting. They are
very pictular about that as there is a lot
of that done at the front just now. I am
glad we are done with squad drill because
if we were kept at it much longer I think
it would have killed some of us. You can
see by the card they are a fragile lot.
