the weather is awful wet and

terrible cold. I got a touch of frostbite

here on Saturday but the Doctor

caught it time to stop it spreading.

I am alright now. Your remember

the letter I wrote to you about 3 or

4 week ago. It is 8 pages full. I

told you in it how we arrived here

and where we were stopping. Well I

want you to give it to Tim and

ask him to show it to Mrs. Cassidy

13. Royse Road Phibsboro. Her son

asked me to ask you to show it

to her. Tell Tim to just let her see

it that's all. You see her son is in

hospital here and he cannot

write. He is sick. Don't leave it

with her. I will have some

good news for you in my next letter.

I am surprised to hear about George

Geraghty. The 5th Lancers will Kill

him although we are worked harder

than they are. Well I will now conclude.

Hoping to hear from you

soon. Best wishes to you and all at

home. I remain

your fond son

Jem
