Town of Walpole

Commonwealth of .Seal of Walpole MassachusettsMassachusetts

War means sacrifice. Every man who enters

the service lays at the feet of his country his hopes,

his ambitions, his life. this is fully understood and

yet it lessens but little the sense of loss when the

supreme sacrifice is made.

The town of Walpole has inscribed on its

gave his life prove a source of consolation to his family

and may the sacrifice he made serve as an inspiration to

the young men of Walpole to preserve the high ideals

for which he and other gave their lives.
