16th Sept. received and glad to know all 

are well and that my daughter is so good

I hope she wont bite too severely.  I suppose

she will soon be talking and tumbling 

about. no there is no one in Cortubber. Pete

Quinn lights a fire in it twice a week to keep

it aired. it must look lonesome now. I 

wonder will you and I go to the races of

Lloyd. I hope Rosey is well remember me to 

her. Has Andrew taken the pledge yet. A chap

here is knitting me a pair of Socks for Baby.
