April

In conjunction with the potatoe

setting, Jackson + Richardson

worked diligently on the Bean

Peas etc. beds. And by the way

our crop of beans turned out to

be an excellent crop both in

size and quantity. We met a lot

of difficulties half way, even went

so far as to spray the beans one

Saturday at midnight in the

moonlight. Mr. Bergin having

got the loan of a whitewash

sprayer from Appelbys. There is

no doubt a lot of good was done by

spraying. Well we will step over

once more to the potatoe dept.
