To O. C. 236 Siege Battery E.G.A.

In the Field

From O. C. 93rd H. A. G.

On the departure of the Battery

93rd H. A. G. the group commander wishes

you to convey to all ranks, his thanks for,

and appreciation of the excellent way in

which the Battery has carried out its work

wile under his command. The calls he

has had to make on the Battery during

the past month have been heavy, but it is

with the greatest satisfaction that he can

congratulate them on the fine results of

their labour, achieved in yesterday's

operations His regret at losing the Battery

is tempered by his pleasure that the

Battery should have been selected as

one of the first two Siege Batteries in

the Corps to move forward, and in

wishing all ranks the best of luck, he knows

that his confidence that they will justify

their selection by maintaining the high

reputation of the battery so well placed
